Renting medical equipment in Hue

Our store is in Da Nang and the furniture does not fold. A hospital bed, a concentrator, a suction unit and a monitor go into a van, and that van has to be loaded, driven up and then carried into a specific room on a specific floor — which is why this is the one thing we will not pretend to do at short notice.

What we need from you before anything is loaded is boring and decisive: the width of the stairwell, whether there is a lift, the height of the gate, which floor, and whether a van can stop outside at all. Two of those answers in an old lane near the Citadel are usually the reason a delivery is split into two trips or swapped for a different model.

Areas we go to most

Imperial City · Huong River · Phu Hoi

Guesthouses in Phu Hoi were built narrow and tall, and a standard three-crank bed does not turn on their landings; we carry a shorter frame for exactly that case and will suggest it unasked.

For a stay of a week or less, renting a bed up here rarely pays for itself once both journeys are counted; an air mattress, a bed rail and a table within reach solve most of the same problem.

Concentrators draw real current, and old wiring in the Citadel quarter sometimes cannot hold one alongside an air conditioner; we check the socket and the board before a machine is left running.

Equipment is not assessment. If the person is getting worse while a delivery is still on the road, that is a 115 call and a hospital door, and the van becomes a second question.

If this is an emergency — trouble breathing, chest pain, heavy bleeding, loss of consciousness or signs of a stroke — please call 115 or go to the nearest hospital first. Please do not wait for a home visit.

Questions we are asked

Questions we are asked

Can you deliver a bed today?

Only by luck — if a van is already going that way for another job and your stairwell is wide enough for what is on it. Otherwise the realistic answer is a named day, usually two or three ahead, with a time band on it. We would rather hold the date than turn up with a frame that will not pass the landing.

What happens when something breaks at the weekend?

You ring the same number, and we talk you through a check first, because about half the faults reported from here turn out to be a kinked tube, a flat battery or a tripped socket. If it is the machine, a replacement travels on the next run up, and we tell you how long you are without it so you can decide whether to wait.
