Home ventilator and oxygen support in Ho Chi Minh City
Home ventilation in a high-rise apartment is as much a building problem as a clinical one. A concentrator wants a socket it does not share with an air conditioner, a position where nobody will shove it away from the bed at night, and intake air that is not being blown at by a fan. Cylinders raise a separate question, because tower management has fire rules, and the right time to discover them is well before delivery day.
Please let us be clear about what we can arrange with you here. Setting up, checking the machine, teaching the family and any carer you already employ, writing the suction and feeding routine down, and a duty line that answers at night — our local doctors and nurses plan those with you. Round-the-clock nursing for every hour of every day is something we would only promise after we have confirmed we can staff it properly. A patient whose numbers are unstable belongs in a ward, and a sudden fall in oxygen or a blocked tube means 115 straight away.

Areas we go to most
District 1 · Thao Dien · Binh Thanh · Phu My Hung
Phu My Hung and the newer riverside towers will usually allow a concentrator in a resident's apartment and will usually want paperwork for a cylinder. Ask management the week before, not the morning of.
Service lifts here are booked by the hour and switched off at night in some buildings. A machine that cannot go up is a machine that is not helping anybody.
Power cuts in this city are short but they happen. A ventilated patient needs a plan for the time without mains power and a spare cylinder within reach of the bed, not in a storeroom downstairs.
Humidity changes the water in the circuit. Families here empty the traps more often than the manual suggests, so we show which part to look at instead of leaving the manual on the table.

Questions we are asked
Questions we are asked
Our relative is on a ventilator in a hospital here. Can you bring them home?
A discharge like that is planned between you, the treating team and whoever will actually be at the bedside afterwards — it is not arranged by a phone call to us. What can be done is assessing the apartment, listing what the room needs, training the people who will do the work, and having the equipment ready for the day the hospital agrees.
Can oxygen be delivered to an apartment in District 7?
A concentrator, usually yes. Cylinders depend on your building, and some towers refuse them outright. Find out which category yours falls into before anything is ordered, because a refusal at the loading bay costs a day you may not have to spare.
